Forgotten Thoughts

Portugal-based synth-pop group Dreams have recently released a casette called Forgotten Thoughts. I’ve finally gotten off my lazy ass and given it a listen (note: I didn’t actually get off my lazy ass, that was a metaphor) and it’s pretty fantastic. From front to back, this thing kicks out jam after fuzzy, warm, electronic jam. I will admit, I am reminded a lot of Neon Indian, but, hey, I like Neon Indian (don’t tell anyone), so I’m alright with that. Take note, all you amateur chill-wave-types: the thing that’s interesting about stuff like this is that, despite being done with cold, heartless technology, it doesn’t sound like it. So, that’s your job — get to it.
Forgotten Thoughts, along with a few other releases from Dreams, can be purchased at their MySpace. Forgotten Thoughts costs four Euros… that’s like 80 dollars, right?
