Pissed Jeans - Request for Masseuse

I feel like I’ve already mentioned this a million times to everyone I know, but the new Pissed Jeans record, King of Jeans, is fucking amazing. It came out a few weeks back, and I’ve probably listened to it every day since then.  I’m way excited to catch these guys at CMJ this year, and a couple nights ago I got so excited/drunk that I just ordered their album on vinyl, which I don’t really regret (I just probably should save some money for food or something).  But, y’know, even though most of the stuff they’ve been putting out is garbage, I feel like I owe Sub Pop something. So, I’m glad they’re putting something like this out, so I can buy it.

Anyway, I’ve uploaded my current favorite song from the record, “Request for Masseuse,” which is the best kind of sludgey imaginable. Listen to it and then go buy the record. I’ll see you at CMJ in October.

P.S. The last song on the album is about going bald when you’re young, which, I feel like I should really get into, but haven’t really, any further than the “this song rocks” thing.  But if that song had come out when I was seventeen…
