I miss videos like this…
More people should be into Nina Hagen. Classically trained, opera prodigy, truly a pioneer; she blended so many different styles, and she was never afraid to be completely batshit. It boggles the mind how much of this truly subversive punk stuff she was able to do despite the fact that she was living in East Berlin. And I don’t understand how she got signed to CBS.
It’s always good to have a German perspective on things like this, because it’s usually at least weird, and frequently, you can get something insane out of it.
