Chris Rehm - Don’t Leave Me Blue
Salivary Stones (
Chinquapin Records)

Chris Rehm’s Salivary Stones is a totally neato.  Fuzzy, grinding textures and some sweet, hypnotic drones.  My favorite tracks are “Don’t Leave Me Blue,” featuring some crusty loops layin’ it down for that gnarly synth-lead, and “Soggy,” an interesting change of pace, beginning as an acoustic piece, but eventually building into a heavily distorted surge of energy.

The whole record’s streaming right here, incidentally.  I think you should check it out.
