Magic Triangle Starts Up Again Tonight →
Tonight at Bezanson Recital Hall on the UMass Campus at 8:00 pm the 2010 season of the Magic Triangle Jazz Series kicks off with a performance by William Parker (bass) and Hamid Drake (percussion) With Special Guest Konrad “Conny” Bauer (trombone). Parker and Drake are curating this season’s Magic Triangle, and I couldn’t be more excited; later in the season they’ll be bringing the Raining on the Moon Sextet, as well as Evan Parker, who you might remember from last fall’s Solos and Duos.
Tickets are $12 for the general public, $7 for students. More information here.
