Calorama - Eyjafjallajökull
Spinning Beach Ball of Death

Calorama’s record Spinning Beach Ball of Death collects some rhythmic ambient sounds in a manner well-constructed towards the end of putting you in a trance.

This one goes out to all you recent college grads.  Listen to this record while you’re laying around in your room, playing Nintendo and doing nothing else for days, avoiding the thought that pretty soon, you’re going to have to get a goddamned job (or, at least, attempting to avoid it, while everyone else in the world will ask you about nothing else).  I assume this album works well for other things, but I wouldn’t know about that.

That beach ball is like the economy. You can blame it for all your failures to be a productive member of society. Unless you own a PC. I guess it’s not a great analogy.

The whole thang is streaming and downloadable at this location.
