FUCKING GREAT. Think of Moon Duo’s Escape as ambient music for people who think that shit is for sissies. Powerful drones, powerful drums, and fuzzy, fucking powerful riffs. Check out “Motorcycle, I Love You” at the top of this page, but all four tracks are nasty. The title track “Escape” actually reminds me of some of that new wave pop stuff that’s been coming out in the past few months. But, y’know, with phaser effects.
Comes out February 16th.
